Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Medical Assistant professional to join our faculty team as a part-time instructor. This role involves classroom, laboratory, and clinical instruction for our Medical Assistant program at our Maumee, OH campus.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality instruction following established curriculum and course outlines
• Create and maintain detailed lesson plans and grading records
• Provide timely feedback on student assignments (within 48 hours)
• Monitor student attendance, performance, and retention
• Hold regular office hours to support student learning
• Participate in required faculty meetings and professional development
• Maintain equipment and supplies for laboratory instruction
• Advise students on academic performance and program policies
• Contribute to a positive learning environment that supports student success

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of verifiable experience as a Medical Assistant (required)
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing
• Current, valid Ohio licensure as a registered nurse
• Completion of an approved registered nursing education program
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to professional development and staying current in the field
• Previous teaching experience preferred but not required
