Ring & DuChateau is looking for a Technology and Architectural Low Voltage Systems Designer to join our team in Brookfield, WI . This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate whos excited to begin their career designing and coordinating modern telecommunications and low voltage systems for new construction and renovation projects.

In this role, youll support the design of a wide range of building technology systems, including telecommunications (copper, fiber, backbone, horizontal cabling, and IT room layout), fire alarm, TV distribution, overhead paging, intercom, area of rescue assistance, access control, CCTV, nurse call, infant protection, distributed antenna systems, and electrified door hardware. Youll help develop construction-ready documents that contractors use for bidding and installation, and youll work closely with engineers, designers, and project managers from concept through completion.

In this role you will:

• Collaborate with clients, project managers, and internal teams to understand project goals and support system design.
• Research and apply relevant codes and standards to guide design decisions.
• Assist in the layout, selection, and coordination of low voltage systems and equipment.
• Produce construction documents and design drawings using Revit and AutoCAD.
• Participate in coordination meetings and support BIM staff on project deliverables.
• Review product submittals and assist with documentation under the guidance of senior team members.
• Conduct site visits and help document field observations for use in design updates.
• Keep project documentation organized and up to date.
• Take advantage of professional development opportunities to stay current with evolving technologies and best practices.

In this role, you will need:

• A bachelors degree in architectural engineering or electrical engineering is preferred.
• Recent graduates are encouraged to applyinternship or academic project experience related to building technology systems is a plus.
• Familiarity with Revit and AutoCAD.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• The ability to stay organized and manage tasks across multiple projects.
• A collaborative approach and a willingness to learn.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
• RCDD certification is not required but may be a future development goal.
