?? Location: Glendora, CA (100% Onsite)
?? Schedule: Full-Time | Direct Hire
?? Salary: $55,000 - $90,000 (No bonuses)


About the Role:
We're seeking a Tax Accountant to join a dynamic, high-energy CPA firm in Upland. This is a direct hire replacement role, and we're looking to fill it ASAP . You'll be working in a fast-paced, client-facing environment with a fun, upbeat team that thrives on music, energy, and collaboration.


?? Schedule:

• May - December: Monday-Thursday, 4/10 schedule, 8:30 AM - 7:00 PM (flexible)
• January: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
• February - April (Tax Season): Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM (most days)

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and file tax returns for individuals, S-Corps, Corporations, Partnerships, and LLCs
• Apply and interpret current tax laws and regulations
• Conduct tax research and provide strategic tax advice to clients
• Maintain strong client relationships and present information professionally
• Mentor junior staff and assist with training
• Handle various administrative tasks including scheduling, phones, filing, and processing payments

Required Qualifications:

? Minimum 3 years of experience in public accounting (CPA firm) focused on tax
? Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
? Strong client-facing and communication skills
? Stable work history with solid tenure in prior roles
? Comfortable in a lively, collaborative office -music, parties, and energy are part of the culture
? Ability to work in high-volume, fast-paced environments

Nice to Have:

• Strong bookkeeping experience -we're open to training the right person on tax preparation
