Job Description
Burr & Forman LLP is currently hiring for a
temporary summer intern/recruiting support to be based in our
Birmingham office.This person will perform administrative duties related to the firm's recruiting program.The successful candidate will benefit from the experience of interesting, pivotal work in a friendly and professional environment.
This is a paid internship at $15 an hour for 30-40 hours per week for up to three months.
KEY CONTRIBUTIONS - Support the recruiting team in daily administrative tasks
- Assist with event planning, coordination, and execution
- Assist with onsite logistics for in-person events and remote set-up for virtual events
- Assist with data entry
THE ESSENTIALS - Strong desire to learn, along with professional drive
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and comfort using internet-based technologies
- Excellent interpersonal skills to provide great internal customer service and handle sensitive information.Requires demonstrated poise, tact, diplomacy, and professional appearance
- Continual attention to detail in composing, typing, and proofing materials
- Must be flexible, demonstrating the ability to adapt easily to a fast-paced environment
- Must have a dependable vehicle, clean driving record, valid driver license, proof of liability insurance, and the ability to walk extensively and to lift up to 15 pounds; familiarity with the Birmingham area will be helpful
- Some evening work may be required
