We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Tax Accountant with a strong background in tax preparation and accounting to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience preparing both individual and business tax returns, and a solid foundation in public accounting principles. Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review individual, corporate, partnership, and other business tax returns
• Analyze financial records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
• Assist clients with tax planning strategies to minimize liabilities
• Conduct research on complex tax issues and keep current with changes in tax laws
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to resolve tax-related inquiries
• Support accounting functions such as general ledger maintenance, financial reporting, and reconciliations
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices and regulatory requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA certification (preferred or actively pursuing)
• Minimum 3 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on tax preparation
• Proficient in tax software and accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, Lacerte, UltraTax, ProSeries)
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, tax codes, and IRS regulations
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
