Process Engineer | Grandville, MI

Salary Range: $69,000 - $103,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Optimize existing manufacturing processes for efficiency, cost reduction, and quality improvement.
• Design, develop, and implement new production processes and equipment.
• Conduct root cause analysis for process deviations and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor key process indicators (KPIs) and analyze data to identify areas for improvement.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive process documentation, including SOPs and P&IDs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new processes and improve existing ones.
• Ensure all processes comply with safety, environmental, and quality standards.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in process engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including data analysis and statistical process control (SPC).
• Ability to develop, optimize, and troubleshoot manufacturing processes and controls.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification
• Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD)
• Experience with PLC/SCADA programming or industrial automation systems
• Familiarity with data analysis tools (e.g., Minitab, JMP, Python for data analysis)
