We are seeking a Part time legal assistant become a part of our team! You will provide overall support to attorneys' administrative needs. Must be a local candidate. This position is remote 5 hours per week with a hybrid option.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct research to support legal proceedings
• Assist with the drafting and reviewing of legal documents
• Investigate facts to help in the negotiation of legal disputes
• Monitor and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
• Record and store client information
• maintain attorney calendar and notices
• handle client budgets and billing tasks
• additional office administrative tasks as needed
• Workers compensation defense experience a plus
• All administrative tasks for a small law office

​ Qualifications:

• 3+ years previous experience as a paralegal, legal secretary, or other legal administrative role
• Familiarity with legal research
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent typing skills
• Computer literate: Word, Excel, Clio a plus
• Deadline and detail-oriented
