Jewelry Designer

What youll do at Spur

• Digitally rendering jewelry designs.
• Design using non-calibrated recycled, heirloom, and post-consumer materials.
• Interpreting design prompts using photographs of gemstones to be included in each design
• Work with our design and production team conceptualizing jewelry designs aligned with our brand aesthetic .
• Problem solve designs with unique materials using knowledge of jewelry fabrication and techniques.
• Make artful design decisions within various project scopes.
• Regularly execute design edits.
• Write thoughtful descriptions of your designs.
• Attend design team meetings.

Requirements

• Professional experience in designing fine jewelry.
• Coursework or relevant professional experience in jewelry rendering.
• Command of Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop.
• Excellent command of jewelry design and knowledge of common fine jewelry fabrication techniques.

• Experience with CAD (RHINO)
• Bench experience.
• Command of Airtable.
• Experience executing custom projects and knowledge of common pitfalls in custom work.
