Summary:
Seeking a hands-on Sr. Databricks Architect to drive the architecture and implementation of a Master Person Index (MPI) solution in Microsoft Fabric. This role requires expertise in Azure infrastructure, Fabric integration, identity resolution design patterns, and managing technical delivery across cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the technical implementation of the MPI in Microsoft Fabric, including Lakehouse, Dataflows, Pipelines, and Integration Runtimes.
Architect and manage secure, scalable data pipelines and APIs for identity resolution and cross-domain person matching.
Provide hands-on engineering in Azure resources (Data Factory, Synapse, Purview, Key Vault, Event Grid, etc.).
Collaborate with data scientists, product owners, and solution architects to ensure delivery aligns with enterprise standards.
Define and manage CI/CD practices and IaC templates (e.g., Bicep, ARM, Terraform).
Enforce governance, security, and compliance best practices.
Required Experience:
7+ years of experience in cloud engineering, with 3+ years in Azure.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Synapse, and Azure DevOps.
Experience with implementing Master Data Management (MDM), MPI, or identity resolution frameworks.
Knowledge of security protocols, data lineage, and auditability.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
