We are seeking pharmacists with strong inpatient hospital backgrounds, a high level of clinical competence, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic hospital setting.
Position Highlights:
Inpatient hospital pharmacy role within a major Los Angeles area health system
Full-time, long-term contract opportunity
8-hour shifts; must be flexible to work all shifts (primarily days and evenings, occasional nights)
Direct hire potential within the county health system (not guaranteed; historical timelines vary)
Requirements:
Active California Pharmacist license
PGY1 residency training required or a minimum of 2 years of recent inpatient hospital pharmacy experience (intern experience may be considered)
Strong knowledge of hospital pharmacy workflow and clinical practices
Willingness to work long-term contract with potential for direct hire
Must pass an on-site competency exam (one attempt only)
Must clear a Livescan background screening
Preferred Qualities:
Familiarity with large public health systems or county hospitals
Experience working in unionized or structured clinical environments
Strong communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
