Due to upcoming retirements, SUMMIT TOWNSHIP FIRE DEPARTMENT is currently accepting applications for:
FULL-TIME OR PAID ON-CALL FIREFIGHTERS
Those applying for either position must have the following qualifications:
*Paid on Call Firefighters shall have a grace period of 2 years from their hire date to obtain an Emergency Medical Technician License – National Registry.
We will have two opportunities for applicants to take the written test: Wednesday, September 10 at 6 p.m. and Friday, September 12 at 10 a.m. If you are unable to attend either day for the written exam, please contact DC Warner or Natalie Anderson.
The physical agility test will take place on Saturday, September 20. Beginning at 10 a.m. for those who pass the written.
Please note that there is no second date for the physical agility test.
