We are looking for an analytical and meticulous Financial Analyst to join our team on a Contract-to-Permanent basis. In this role, you will work closely with financial data, leveraging your expertise in Excel and foundational knowledge of finance, economics, or accounting. Based in Rutherford, New Jersey, this position offers the flexibility of remote work with occasional in-office collaboration.

Responsibilities:
• Analyze and interpret complex financial data to generate clear insights and reports.
• Utilize advanced Excel functions to manage and manipulate large datasets.
• Support royalty calculations and related financial processes with precision and accuracy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on financial strategies.
• Conduct audits and reconciliations to maintain data integrity and compliance.
• Apply data mining techniques to uncover trends and improve decision-making.
• Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process by providing accurate financial models.
• Utilize accounting software systems to streamline financial operations.
• Prepare and present financial reports to stakeholders in a clear and detailed manner.
• Monitor accrual accounting practices and ensure adherence to industry standards.• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Mathematics, Finance, Accounting, or Business.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas and data analysis.
• Familiarity with accounting software systems and financial reporting tools.
• Solid understanding of accrual accounting and auditing processes.
• Ability to work with large datasets and apply data mining techniques.
• Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to effectively present financial findings.
• Flexibility to work remotely with occasional in-office attendance in Rutherford, New Jersey.
