Executive Director, Head of Global Policy Analytics & Evidence The Head of Global Policy Analytics & Evidence will be responsible for generating quality analytics & evidence for critical BMS policy issues worldwide, supporting the broader Global Policy Strategy. This leader will have a direct report in both research and analytics, as well as responsibility for the Global Policy & Access team. The role involves close collaboration with the Global Market Access organization within our joint innovation hub, supporting enterprise needs in policy analytics. The policy analytics & evidence function will support the development and execution of the enterprise-wide global policy strategy to advance business objectives and optimize patient access to medicines globally. This includes leading and managing the Global Policy Analytics & Evidence Team, supporting analytics for the Global Policy Council (GPC), and advising key stakeholders on policy issues. The role requires collaboration across functions such as Market Access, HEOR, R&D, Business Development, and Medical Affairs. Responsibilities Lead the generation of quality analytics & evidence creation for critical BMS policy issues worldwide, supporting the Global Policy Strategy. Be a member of the Global Policy & Government Affairs leadership team, ensuring teamwork and connectivity to support strategy execution through data analytics, policy research, and outcomes. Develop strategies for monitoring and identifying relevant policy issues, evaluating their impact, developing risk mitigation strategies, and generating evidence to shape policy proactively. Lead the Global Analytics & Evidence teams, including two direct reports and the Policy & Access team of four members. Support the company's policy positions through evidence and analytics, aligning with industry trade associations and stakeholders globally. Provide strategic input into company strategy to incorporate policy considerations into key business decisions. Minimum Requirements 12-15 years of experience in healthcare policy & economics, with strong data, analytics, and statistical analysis capabilities. Proven leadership in managing teams and cross-functional collaboration to advance enterprise objectives. Ability to develop and communicate complex models and insights effectively, integrating diverse datasets and conducting advanced modeling. Understanding of U.S. and global market dynamics, healthcare policy issues, and government payer systems. Experience with developing models using sales, profit, claims, and healthcare utilization data, with knowledge of claims databases and actuarial concepts. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
