CNC Machinist/Operator
Job DescriptionJoin a leading manufacturer of pipes, valves, and flanges as a CNC Machinist/Operator. This role involves working in a production shop with pre-loaded programs, focusing on machining large parts such as flanges, elbows, and fittings. The position requires setting up with minimal edits using G code, and primarily involves working with carbon and stainless steel.

Work Environment
The work environment is a large, renovated manufacturing shop with a shipping and receiving area, and a spacious machining shop. Each machining station is equipped with OH cranes and jib cranes to handle large parts. The shop is open air and non-climate controlled, but large fans are available to circulate air. The dress code includes steel-toed boots, jeans, work shirts, and safety glasses. The 2nd shift operates from Monday to Friday, 4:00 pm to 1:00 am, with occasional weekends depending on production needs. The workplace is loud and bustling, with a diverse team of machinists and forklift drivers.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, Texas.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.
