Overview Purpose Statement/Position Summary: The Clinical Research LVN manages all aspects of research protocols and clinical trials. Monitor study patients and provide appropriate nursing services; review and evaluate health status, lab findings and reactions; oversee accurate records, maintain and implement research protocols, develop policies and procedures and submission of trials to the IRB. Employee will follow applicable policies and procedures in handling supplies, pharmaceuticals, and equipment. Schedule: Weekends required. Part-time position, Minimum 16 hours per week but may be more based on needs. Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience: 1+ year pediatric nursing experience. Organizational skills. Clinical Research experience preferred. Education/Licensure/Certifications: Completed licensed vocational nurse program. Current license as a Licensed Vocational Nurse in the state of California. Current AHA CPR card. IV certificate from the California state board and Phlebotomy certification preferred. Pay Scale Information $46,800.00-$80,850.00 CHLA values the contribution each Team Member brings to our organization. Final determination of a successful candidate’s starting pay will vary based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to education and experience within the job or the industry. The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates that exceed these specified qualifications and requirements.
