With rapid growth and a vision to disrupt the status quo, they are launching a new venture - a next-generation marketplace designed to transform a traditionally fragmented sector and redefine how a $30bl high-performance metals industry connects, trades, and scales globally.

As the founding General Manager, you’ll have a rare opportunity to build and launch the defining platform of this industry, with significant financial upside and the chance to make a lasting global impact.

What You’ll Do:

• Take full ownership of marketplace operations - from product readiness to supplier onboarding and customer acquisition.
• Partner with visionary founders to shape commercial strategy, go-to-market plans, and long-term growth roadmap.
• Build and inspire a high-performing cross-functional team driven by speed and innovation.
• Execute relentlessly, scale operations, and deliver measurable traction in a fast-moving environment.
• Test, learn, and iterate rapidly, bringing fresh ideas to disrupt an industry ripe for change.

What You Bring:

• Proven success in launching or scaling digital marketplaces or high-growth start-ups.
• A natural leader who thrives on autonomy and accountability - not just a strategist but a doer.
• Deep understanding of start-up execution from zero-to-one through rapid scale-up.
• Solid grasp of marketplace dynamics, network effects, and platform business models.
• Entrepreneurial grit - adaptable, resourceful, and comfortable taking calculated risks.

Preferred but Not Essential:

• Background in metals, materials science, or related industrial sectors.
• Software engineering or technical expertise.
• MBA or relevant advanced degree from a top-tier university.
