We are working with a very well-established and respected client in the Indianapolis area and for the past 40+ years, they have been building and grooming a stellar reputation in the civil engineering and land surveying industry. They focus on the planning, design, inspection and construction management of civil engineering, structural and transportation related projects.

Are you ready to take your career to the next level? We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Civil Project Manager to join our innovative team in the Engineering industry. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead and manage a variety of civil engineering projects, from inception to completion. You will be a vital part of our team, working on a diverse range of projects, including transportation, structural, and construction management. Responsibilities:
As a Civil Project Manager, your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Leading and managing the planning, design, and execution of civil engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
2. Collaborating with a diverse team of engineers, architects, and construction professionals to develop comprehensive project plans and schedules.
3. Overseeing the design and implementation of transportation systems, including roads, bridges, and other infrastructure.
4. Managing the construction process, ensuring all work is completed according to the project specifications and safety standards.
5. Conducting site inspections and assessments, identifying and resolving any potential issues or obstacles.
6. Coordinating with stakeholders, clients, and contractors, maintaining open lines of communication and ensuring all parties are kept informed of project progress and any changes.
7. Preparing and presenting project reports and updates to senior management and clients.

Qualifications:
To be considered for the Civil Project Manager position, you should possess the following qualifications:

1. A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree or Professional Engineer (PE) certification would be a plus.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in civil engineering project management, with a proven track record of successfully completed projects.
3. Strong knowledge and experience in transportation and structural engineering, including bridge design.
4. Proficiency in using project management and civil engineering software.
5. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
6. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve project issues effectively.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
8. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
9. Strong attention to detail, with the ability to ensure all work is completed to the highest quality standards.
10. A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel to project sites as needed.
