Warehouse Technician

Responsibilities:

• Inventory Management : Track and manage inventory levels to ensure stock is properly stored and rotated. Perform regular stock counts and assist with cycle counts.
• Receiving & Stocking : Unload incoming shipments, verify products against shipping documents, and store items in their appropriate locations.
• Order Fulfillment : Pick and pack products for shipment, ensuring that orders are completed accurately and on time.
• Shipping & Receiving : Prepare goods for shipment, including labeling, packing, and ensuring all necessary paperwork is complete.
• Warehouse Maintenance : Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment. Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions.
• Equipment Operation : Safely operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery.
• Documentation : Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, shipments, and receipts using warehouse management software or paper systems.
• Collaboration : Work closely with other warehouse staff, supervisors, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment preferred.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic computer skills.
• Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 80 lbs).
• Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain) may be required.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
