Job Description

Our client is expanding its Utility Operations team to support increased workload demands. The role as a Utility Operator is critical to maintaining and optimizing utility systems across the site, ensuring reliable operation of equipment and infrastructure in a GMP-regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Field Operations (60%)

• Conduct walkdowns, field inspections, and equipment evaluations
• Monitor for leaks, unusual noises, and respond to alarms
• Perform pump assessments and utility system checks

Control Room Operations (40%)

• Operate and monitor Building Management Systems (BMS) and Visual Distress Systems (VDS)
• Support utility generation and distribution (air handlers, chillers, boilers, compressors)
• Interface with systems such as DeltaV DCS, Metasys, Siemens, Diablo, or SCADA

System Ownership:

• Contribute to building out responsibilities across CUB, tank farm, lab admin, process waste, LN2 doors, and other utility zones

Required Qualifications:

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience operating utility equipment
• Proficiency in DeltaV DCS, VDS, or similar control systems
• Fluent in BMS platforms (Metasys, Siemens, Diablo, SCADA)
• Strong working knowledge of chiller, boiler, and air compressor systems
