Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Soliant Health is seeking a Travel Pharmacy Technician with strong IV admixture and chemotherapy preparation experience for an assignment in the Albany, NY area. This position is based in a cancer center infusion pharmacy setting with float coverage required between multiple locations within the local oncology network.
Position Details:
Location: Albany, NY area (float within ~20 miles of multiple sites)
Setting: Cancer center infusion pharmacy
Schedule: Monday Friday, day shifts (~8:00 am 4:30 pm)
Assignment Length: 13 weeks + (possible extension)
Start Date: ASAP
Duties: Primary responsibility will be admixture of chemotherapy medications
Requirements:
Prior IV admixture/chemotherapy preparation experience (required)
National certification (PTCB) highly preferred
NY pharmacy technician license not required
Reliable transportation to float between sites (required)
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow USP <797>/<800> standards
