ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Henderson, Kentucky.

\nRN - Stepdown
\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work 12-hour night shifts with 48 guaranteed hours per week
\n• 13-week contract with every third weekend and every other holiday required
\n• Three years RN experience required including one solid year of stepdown/PCU experience
\n• One travel assignment experience required
\n• Must have active compact nursing license
\n• Required certifications: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS
\n• Recent EPIC experience required with mandatory checkoff class
\n• Must pass telemetry tests for tele interpretation
\n• Care for stepdown/PCU patient population including sepsis, CHF, COPD, DKA, cirrhosis, dementia patients
\n• Handle surgical patients including urology, abdominal, and orthopedic cases
\n• Initiate and titrate insulin, heparin, and cardiac drips
\n• Patient ratios: 1:5-6 on night shift
\n• First to float within skillset to other campuses with 2-hour notice
\n• Potential float to campuses 8-11 miles away
\n• Must wear navy blue scrubs with no competing logos
\n• May require precepting of students and new hires
\n• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills essential
\n• 3 call-ins can result in termination
