Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 1 year of experience, ARRT (R) and BLS certification for a fast-paced IR department.

\n \n Responsibilities\n
  • Work in a dynamic interventional radiology department supporting vascular surgeons and interventional radiologists
  • Equipment includes Philips rooms (one biplane) and one GE Hybrid room
  • Adult patient population in a short-term acute care setting
  • Shifts are 4x10 days from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
  • EPIC EMR is used and proficiency is required
  • Regular floating between like units within the scope of skills is required
  • Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel contracts
  • First-time travelers are accepted for this position
  • All time-off requests must be declared at the time of application and may affect consideration
  • Reliable transportation is required for this assignment
  • Former permanent staff must wait 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside outside the 50-mile radius
  • Annual online modules must be completed before starting and take an average of 16 hours
  • COVID and flu vaccination may be required per compliance
  • Open to temp-to-perm transitions if mutually agreed upon after contract

  • Minimum 1 year of recent interventional radiology technologist experience
  • Current BLS and ARRT (R) certifications required
  • Washington state license required (license required if applicable)
  • Interventional Radiology/Cardiovascular certification preferred
  • Experience with EPIC charting is required
  • Two supervisory references covering one year within the last three years are needed for consideration
