Liberty Tax Service in Pensacola, FL is seeking entry-level and experienced tax professionals for full-time and part-time positions to join our team. Friendly disposition and excellent customer service skills are required. For entry-level positions, no experience required and we will train you! For experienced preparers, we are offering pay and bonuses commensurate with experience.

We will provide training in federal and state income taxation, as well as the use of our proprietary tax preparation software.

We are looking for goal-driven tax preparers to be responsible for advising clients, analyzing tax data submitted by clients, and filing and submitting tax returns. Tax preparers should ensure confidentiality, provide excellent service to promote repeat business, and provide future tax planning to clients.

Position Purpose
The Tax Preparer conducts an in-depth interview with the client to obtain all required information and material to complete an accurate tax return.

Position Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks:

• Establish rapport with clients to build working relationships and increase retention
• Scheduling meetings with clients
• Provides exceptional customer service
• Prepares and submits accurate tax returns using industry leading technology
• Fulfills ongoing tax training and testing requirements

Position Qualifications:

• High School Diploma
• Successful Completion of Basic Tax Course
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Ability to communicate in a professional manner
• Basic computer knowledge
• Basic tax knowledge preferred
• Attention to detail

Physical Demands and Work Environment

The position requires working in an office atmosphere assisting clients.
