We are looking for a skilled Tax Accountant to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to take on senior-level responsibilities, including managing tax operations, reviewing returns, and mentoring staff. Compensation will depend on the candidate’s experience, technical skills, and performance background.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the preparation and review of corporate and individual tax returns to ensure accuracy and compliance.

• Train, mentor, and provide guidance to entry-level staff members to enhance team performance.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their tax-related inquiries and concerns.

• Collaborate with clients to develop effective tax strategies that align with their financial goals.

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations while staying updated on changes in tax laws.

• Utilize accounting software such as UltraTax and QuickBooks to manage and streamline tax processes.

• Assist in the preparation of complex tax filings and resolve any discrepancies or issues.

• Support the team in auditing processes and reviewing financial statements as needed.

• Analyze cash activity and budget processes to improve overall financial efficiency.

• Provide expertise in ERP solutions and accounting systems to optimize operations.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field is required.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in tax preparation and review, with a focus on corporate and individual returns.
• Proficiency in UltraTax and QuickBooks is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial compliance.
• Experience with ERP systems and accounting software tools is highly desirable.
• Excellent leadership and mentoring skills to train and support entry-level staff.
• Ability to build and maintain client relationships through effective communication.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
