Part‑time STEM Instructor (Code Sensei) Part‑time, up to 12 hours per week, weekdays and weekends. Company Overview Code Ninjas is the nation’s fastest growing kids coding franchise. At our centers, kids ages 7 and up learn to code while building their own video games. Parents see results and kids have fun. Role Summary As a Code Sensei, you will prepare the center each day, work with children to complete our self‑paced coding curriculum, address roadblocks, and lead STEM activities. Responsibilities Learn and master the curriculum Create a positive, safe environment for students to grow Assess children’s skill levels and provide appropriate feedback Communicate progress to parents after student sessions Follow daily opening and closing duties Maintain cleanliness of the dojo to corporate standards Report weekly to the Center Director on progress Report daily to the Center Director with respect to the day’s activities and productivity in the dojo Qualifications Experience mentoring, coaching, tutoring or child care for ages 5 and up Experience working with the general public Knowledgeable about coding and technology, or can quickly pick up basic concepts Proficient in Java, JavaScript, Scratch (experience required) Fun to work with and thrives in fast‑paced environments where requirements can change frequently Pay $18.00 – $22.00 per hour.
