Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Sr. Technical Product Manager to join the Vudu Product team. In this role, you will define innovative systems and services for best-in-class digital streaming and transactional platforms. Collaborating with various stakeholders, both business and technical, you will define product requirements for commerce and server-driven features and enhancements. **JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**

Define epics and user stories for Vudu server-side systems and services, prioritizing backlog according to documented product strategy and business goals

Write detailed and thorough technical requirements for developers and QA to build world-class services

Clearly articulate point of view on complex technical topics related to platform and technology in the area of product responsibility. Align both technical and non-technical stakeholders to this common vision.

Partner with cross-functional teams including Engineering, PMO, Quality Assurance, Business Intelligence, Finance/Accounting, Exhibitor Relations, Customer Service, Fraud, Ad Sales, Business Development and Product leads to uniting towards a common goal

Guide projects through launch and post-launch with hyper-care

Identify customer needs, tech trends, and market opportunities and deliver actionable solutions

Define KPIs and analyze metrics to inform the success of products

Qualifications/Requirements

Degree preferably in Computer Science, Computer

Engineering, or equivalent practical experience

5+ years of Product experience, preferably in a technical product role

A strong understanding and passion for systems and

services in digital commerce

Ability to conceptualize products, manage and optimize them throughout their lifecycle

Attention to detail is essential

Effectively communicate with technical and non-

technical audiences, including executive leadership

The ability to work well in a team environment and

maintain a positive and professional tone across

departments

Desired Characteristics

Excellent personal, verbal, and written communication skills

SCRUM and JIRA experience a plus

Experience with payment processing, credit cards, and alternative payment methods such as Apple Pay, PayPal, Google Pay, and more

Expertise in juggling multiple tasks, re-prioritizing where needed

Excellent problem solving and analytical skills with the ability to evolve the product based on research data and industry trends

Willingness to take ownership and drive initiatives to

completion

An understanding of current software design patterns

and principles

Strong working knowledge of RESTful APIs,

microservices, and service dependency management

Familiarity with software build, release, deployment, and monitoring tools and practices

Familiarity with test-driven and behavioral driven

development practices

Familiarity with distributed systems design and

architecture

Familiarity with stream processing and event-driven

architectures

General familiarity with common networking,

infrastructure, and security fundamentals

Professional experience as a software engineer working in a back-end or full-stack capacity is a strong plus

Passion for entertainment is a plus
