We are seeking a detail-oriented Cost Accountant to join our finance team. This role will be instrumental in monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on project and manufacturing costs to ensure financial accuracy, compliance with government regulations

Job Details

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within a government or industrial setting.
• Direct experience with government contracting and compliance in a cost accounting role.
• Proficiency with Deltek Costpoint is preferred; familiarity with TM1 and OneStream is a plus.
• Solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and internal corporate policies as they relate to financial transactions.
• Strong proficiency in analyzing and interpreting financial statements and reports to support business decisions.
• Familiarity with government accounting standards, including FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation) and CAS (Cost Accounting Standards), is highly desirable.
