Job Description

We are looking for two creative and social/digital media savvy interns to assist primarily with game night social media, as well as the development and implementation of strategic marketing plans for the Lehigh Valley Phantoms and all concerts, events and restaurants in the PPL Center. The position demands a fun, positive and team-oriented personality that promotes the vision of the Phantoms and PPL Center as being the epicenter for fun and entertainment in the Lehigh Valley.


REPORTS TO: Director of Integrated Marketing & Community

• Must be available to work nights and weekends, to assist with Phantoms home & away game social media, and as needed for PPL Center events
• Assist with the creation of content for our social media, emails, website, and mobile app, tracking trends online and across other teams/venues
• Collaborate with other departments to enhance the "FANDOM" associated with the Phantoms Hockey Team and assist in reaching revenue goals
• Create weekly analytics reports for all Phantoms and PPL Center social media accounts
• Be an advocate to grow the organization's presence in the community

• Must be actively enrolled in an accredited college or university and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree during the length of the program
• Must be available to work nights and weekends

• Sports and entertainment experience is preferred
• Photography/videography experience is a plus
• HTML and/or graphic design knowledge preferred
• Knowledge of and appreciation of professional hockey
