Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is ideal for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in high school settings, located in Norwalk, CT. You will support a caseload of approximately 60 students alongside a partnering SLP, providing essential speech and language services to help students succeed academically and socially. This contract position runs from the current school year start through the end of school year (EOSY), with flexibility for full-time, part-time, or hybrid arrangements.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Experience working in high school settings preferred
  • Familiarity with AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) devices is a strong advantage
  • Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 60 students collaboratively
  • Strong communication and organizational skills

Location:

  • Norwalk, Connecticut, within a high school environment

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and provide speech-language therapy to students
  • Collaborate with educational teams, families, and other professionals to support students communication needs
  • Utilize AAC devices effectively to enhance student outcomes
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
  • Foster a positive and supportive learning environment
