Job Description

A rewarding opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential services at an elementary school setting. This contract position offers the chance to support young learners in developing their communication skills during the upcoming school year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech and language assessments for elementary-aged students.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each students needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support student progress.
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies.
• Participate in meetings related to student IEPs (Individualized Education Programs) and multidisciplinary teams.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid State of Colorado license or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Experience working in a school setting, preferably with elementary-aged children.
• Strong knowledge of speech and language development and disorders.
• Effective communication skills to interact with students, families, and school personnel.
• Ability to manage caseloads and prioritize tasks efficiently within a school calendar.
