Malone is hiring for an SMT Machine Operator in Vista, CA.


The SMT Machine Operator operates equipment & machinery commonly used in printed circuit board assembly production, such as screen printer, surface mount pick& place machine, reflow oven, DIP inserter, VCD, wave solder, selective solder, aqueous cleaner, etc.


SMT Machine Operator Responsibilities:

• Sets-up and operates the machinery and equipment
• Loads and unloads material on machine
• Performs inspection of machine output
• Immediately alerts supervisor of any issue with machine or output
• For surface mount production places or aligns parts by hand
• Performs schedule maintenance on machine or equipment as directed by supervisor
• Assists Engineer or Facility technician with repair of machine or equipment
• May participate in internal and external Quality Management System audits
• May perform other duties as assigned

SMT Machine Operator Requirements:

• Ability to work with automated equipment interfaces; moderate computer skills
• Ability to follow equipment safety guidelines; ability to follow verbal instructions in English
• Ability to identify electronic components, through color coding and part numbering
• For surface mount: mechanical dexterity for placing or aligning small components, and machine maintenance and repair
• For surface mount: good visual acuity

Pay Rate: $16.50-$19/hr

Shift: 7:30am-4pm
