Job Title: Site Manager (Anticipated - Grant Funded) Anticipated Start: August 1, 2025 Reports to: Blueprint Math Fellows Program Director Department: Campus(es) as Assigned Revised: April 2025 The Opportunity We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our team as Site Manager for our Blueprint Math Fellows program located in the Washington, DC area. In this role, you will lead day-to-day program operations of the Fellows program while strengthening your leadership, instructional coaching, and people management skills. You will play a key role in supporting Math Fellows—who deliver small-group math tutoring—by providing coaching, training, supervision, and evaluations. Organizational Overview Founded in 2010, Blueprint Schools Network is a national nonprofit organization that promotes educational equity and improves life outcomes for students by operating the Blueprint Math Fellows Program . The Math Fellows Program is an intensive, daily, in-school tutoring program that provides additional academic support for students in our partner schools. We seek to build students’ math skills and confidence so that they achieve academic success and enjoy learning math! Our programs are designed to fit the needs of each school. Blueprint partners with public school districts and charter school networks across the country. About the Blueprint Math Fellows Program The Blueprint Math Fellows Program provides intensive, small group math tutoring to students as part of their regular school day. Tutorial sessions address gaps in foundational mathematics knowledge and promote each student’s ability to problem solve, think critically, and access grade-level coursework. Tutorial groups are small and personalized. Each tutor, known as a Math Fellow , leads tutorial sessions that are 30-60 minutes long, highly structured, and research-based. Position Summary The Site Manager (SM) will assist and support the implementation of the Blueprint Fellows program in partnering schools and/or districts under the direction of the Blueprint Math Fellows Program Director and with the mentorship and support of regional Site Manager(s). Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree (Master’s degree preferred) Proficiency for math at assigned grade levels Three or more years of math classroom teaching experience or directly relevant experience Prior experience working with students or adolescents English proficiency (Spanish preferred) Ability to travel between local program site locations Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with schools and districts in the Washington, DC area is preferred (public, charter, or district-specific knowledge is a plus) Experience as an instructional coach or educational leadership role (which may be combined with math classroom teaching experience, managerial educational experience, youth development experience, successful completion of Blueprint Lead Fellow experience, and/or other relevant experience working with students or adolescents) Prior supervisory experience preferred but not required. Provide training and coaching to Math Fellows on effectively communicating student progress to families. Facilitate integration of Fellows with school staff Collaborate with math teachers and other support staff in meeting the needs of students Share student data with school leaders, teachers, and caregivers Work with Blueprint leadership and Director to continuously improve program implementation Developing & Managing Math Fellows Collaborate with local and national Blueprint teams to implement training for Fellows Supervision of Fellows at site locations Work with school leaders to ensure Fellows receive school-specific training Build teams among Fellows and foster positive team culture Design and facilitate ongoing professional development for Fellows Plan, address, and provide coverage support for when Fellows are absent Weekly observations and coaching of Fellows Be a model of professionalism Provide supervision of Fellow schedules and related leave requests Conduct Fellow evaluations and provide feedback to Fellows Responsible for overseeing compliance with Blueprint Schools policies and professional expectations Support organizational communications by sharing national updates to Fellows as requested by Blueprint leadership and Director Instructional Leadership Participate in content related support from trained math content consultants and/or Director Provide math content support to Fellows Track, analyze assessment and survey data to review with Director on themes and actions plans Collaborate with leadership team members across the national network to learn, implement, and monitor best practices in lesson delivery Lead team to set student achievement goals and facilitate data meetings that support Fellows in monitoring progress toward goals Participate in tiered coaching sessions and co-observation of Fellows facilitated by Director(s) Collaborate with other Site Managers/Associate Site Managers on peer-to-peer observations Participate in professional learning to develop people management and leadership capabilities Recruitment and Onboarding In partnership with the Human Capital team, assist in the hiring and onboarding of new Fellows Regularly prepare for and participate in meetings with the Talent Acquisition Manager Identify and suggest local recruitment events that align with the goals of the Blueprint program Leverage in-depth knowledge of the local community to build strong relationships with key stakeholders Promote retention of Fellows Perform other duties as assigned. Compensation and Benefits Blueprint provides a competitive salary for this position. Salary Range: $65,000 - $85,000. Salary placement within range will be based upon professional academic experience as it relates to the required knowledge, skills, and experience of the position.
