The Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated
Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join our innovative team at our Lockport location. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and implementing new & refurbished equipment for various manufacturing processes supporting production of heat exchangers.
What You'll Do (Responsibilities): \n - New program implementation/execution (SOR prep, forecasting, equipment design, equipment build/run-off and buyoff)
\n - Design, develop, and implement equipment for automated machinery, robotics, and other manufacturing processes.
\n - Managing deliveries to program timing milestones
\n - Conduct plant modeling and analysis to optimize system performance and efficiency.
\n - Perform Troubleshooting Hardware and software issues to ensure system reliability and uptime.
\n - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical, electrical, and software engineers.
\n - Participate in all phases of the product development lifecycle, from concept to production.
\n - Write SOR's for new equipment, monitor supplier progress, perform runoff at suppliers and Lockport. Complete all necessary tasks required before handoff of equipment to focus factory.
\n - Periodic off shift & weekend work will be required

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications): \n - Bachelor's in mechanical or manufacturing engineering or equivalent experience
\n - 4+ years of manufacturing engineering experience
\n - Excellent Troubleshooting Hardware and software skills.
\n - Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
\n - Occasional off shift work will be required to support production
\n - Overtime as needed to meet project timelines & start / debug support

What Can Give You a Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications): \n - Proficiency in plant modeling and analysis techniques.
\n - Knowledge of Industrial Cameras (Cognex, Keyence, Matrox...)
\n - Experience with Fanuc robotics
\n - Extensive experience with Simulation tools and techniques.
\n - Strong background in manufacturing of heat exchangers - condensers, radiators, ATOC's, LTR's etc
\n - Master's degree in manufacturing engineering

This role is categorized as onsite. This means the selected candidate is expected to report to a specific location on a full-time basis.The selected candidate will be required to travel <25% for this role.This job may be eligible for relocation benefits.
