As a Security Professional - Access Control Patrols in Fountain Inn, SC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more .

As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and managing badge access to help to deter unauthorized activity. You will conduct routine patrols throughout the facility, remain highly visible to support a secure atmosphere, and respond promptly to security-related incidents or alarms. This position also involves interacting with staff and guests, providing exceptional customer service, and utilizing technology such as computers or tablets to document activities and incidents. What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and control access to the manufacturing and industrial location, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel, visitors, and vehicles.
  • Provide customer service by assisting employees and visitors with access-related inquiries and directions in a professional manner.
  • Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies to help maintain a secure environment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or irregularities according to Allied Universal and client procedures.
  • Support emergency response activities as needed, including assisting with evacuations and/or other site-specific emergency protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Applicants must provide proof of a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
  • Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
