As a Security Officer - Chemical Site Patrol in Comfort, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical and more .

As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a leading chemical and petrochemical location, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry and exit points, conducting routine patrols throughout the facility, and remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will interact with a diverse range of individuals, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while upholding site protocols. What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and authorizations for entry and exit.
• Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and contractors with security-related inquiries and procedures.
• Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies, including those related to chemical and petrochemical environments.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities as required by site protocols.
• Support emergency response activities as directed, including assisting with evacuations and/or other site-specific emergency procedures.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to maintain a secure environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid TSA issued Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC).
• State, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
