Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Tax Associate to join our team during tax season. You will help clients complete their tax returns and informational return requirements using appropriate reporting systems.

Duties

• Prepare and file accurate tax returns and informational filings for individual and business clients.
• Perform due diligence interviews with clients and review client documentation to determine proper forms and filing-requirements
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns, and IRS and state inquiries
• Apply tax knowledge to ensure compliance with tax regulations
• Use 10-key typing and keyboarding skills to input data accurately

Requirements

• Previous experience in tax preparation or bookkeeping
• Basic knowledge of tax forms, filing deadlines, and tax regulations
• Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities
• English and Spanish knowledge (Bilingual preferred)

Job Type: Seasonal

Expected hours: 30-40 per week

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday

Experience:

• Tax experience: 1 year (Required)

Work Location: In person
