- Grade Levels: K-12 (specific caseload details to be discussed during interviews)
- Work Environment: Supportive and student-centered school setting
Key Responsibilities: - Provide individual and group counseling to address students academic, career, and social-emotional needs
- Develop and implement intervention strategies to support students facing personal and academic challenges
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create a positive learning environment
- Conduct assessments and provide referrals for additional mental health and social services
- Facilitate workshops and programs on conflict resolution, study skills, and college/career readiness
- Advocate for students and support their overall well-being through personalized counseling plans
Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in psychology, education, counseling, social work, or a related field (required)
- Active School Counselor license in Massachusetts
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Passion for student success and mental wellness
