Job Description

RSCS is a Full-Service Commercial and Industrial Refrigeration Construction and Service company, servicing 10 states across the western USA and in business for over 25 years.  We are seeking a highly skilled and dependable  Commercial Refrigeration Service Technician to join our team.   This is not an entry-level position — only candidates with 3–5 years of hands-on experience in commercial, low-temp, rack  refrigeration will be considered. This position IS NOT for a tech skilled only in HVAC - if you are limited to air conditioning experience, please DO NOT apply.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities & Requirements:

Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Low Temp Refrigeration Service Technician

Proficient in:

• Leak Detection
  
• Motor alignment and replacement
  
• Diagnostics of electrical systems and controls
  
• Ability to diagnose and service across   multiple brands of equipment and control systems
  
• Understanding and experience with supermarket refrigeration systems at low temperatures
  

Capable of:

• Working independently in client facilities
  

• Troubleshooting and repairing equipment when operators cannot
  

• Performing start-ups of   refrigeration systems
  

Ideal Candidate Qualities:

Experienced in both commercial and industrial refrigeration

Demonstrates excellent customer service and client relations

• Self-motivated, hands-on, and a   self-starter
  
• Well-organized and detail-oriented
  
• Comfortable with   short term travel and participating in an on-call rotation
  
• Must have a clean driving record and clear criminal background for military base access
