About the Revenue Cycle Manager: The Revenue Cycle Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the ABA revenue cycle including billing, audit and collections.
What will the Revenue Cycle Manager do?
Monitors and evaluates the activity relating to registration and the charge capture process, coding, authorizations, claims submissions, denials, and appeals.
Prepare month-end reports accurately and facilitate the monthly meeting presentation.
Monitor and track appeal statuses and outcomes, ensuring timely follow-up.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of payer policies and denial codes.
Reviews and verifies the accuracy of time-based codes and medical charges billed to ensure bills are complete and accurate.
Analyze and manage root causes of denials and develop action plans to improve results.
Meet monthly collection goals and performance metrics.
Provide excellent customer service to patients while adhering to all HIPAA regulations and privacy policies.
Utilize Central Reach and the Google suite of products to manage patient accounts and track collections efforts.
Requirements:
3-5 years of experience in Revenue Cycle Management, Claims Management, and Billing.
Strong understanding of medical billing processes and insurance claims.
Payor relations including Commercial, Medicaid, and Tricare.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy laws.
