Main Job Duties and Responsibilities · Posts tenant payments by recording cash, checks, and wires into each tenant ledger to maintain an up-to-date billing system.· Enter lease information into property management software· Updates receivables by totaling unpaid invoices. Monitor tenant account details for non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities.· Ensure monthly commercial billing and late fees are generated, posted, and collected.. Analysis and payment preparation of Real Estate Taxes & Utilities· Develop a recovery system and initiate collection efforts· Assist with the month-end closing· Protects the organization's value by keeping information confidential. Education and Experience· Bachelor’s degree· Knowledge of general bookkeeping procedures Preferred experience in property management, preferably with MRI software· Proficient in relevant MS computer software, especially EXCEL· 5+ Years of accounts receivable and general accounting experience, including collections, chargebacks, real estate tax billings, and utilities analysis.
