Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Property Manager (Licensed) to oversee a portfolio of residential and/or mixed-use properties. This role is responsible for supervising leasing, tenant relations, maintenance operations, and financial administration under the supervision of a licensed broker. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of property management experience and strong client communication and operational leadership skills.
Responsibilities
• Show rental homes and apartment units to prospective tenants
• Screen and approve tenant applicants
• Negotiate, prepare, and execute lease agreements
• Oversee tenant relations and ensure compliance with move-in and move-out procedures
• Supervise rent collection, trust accounting, and recordkeeping
• Coordinate and supervise routine, preventative, and capital maintenance
• Supervise turnovers, renovations, and vendor relationships
• Conduct property inspections and ensure regulatory compliance
• Communicate regularly with ownership regarding property performance
• Supervise maintenance of company records in accordance with established policies
• Perform related duties as assigned
Qualifications
• Active California DRE Real Estate License (required)
• Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) from an accredited four-year college or university
• 3-5 years of property management experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational, analytical, and decision-making abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation
Compensation (California Pay Transparency)
$72,500 – $82,500 annually, exempt salary, depending on experience
