Production Supervisor

Production Supervisor - Denton, TX - $80,000 to $85,000/ year

Position Overview
The Production Supervisor will oversee and coordinate the daily operations of the production team, ensuring that production goals are met while maintaining quality and efficiency standards. This role requires strong leadership skills and a thorough understanding of production processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production activities and manage production team members
• Ensure production goals are achieved while maintaining quality standards
• Implement and monitor KPIs to track production performance
• Conduct root cause analysis for production issues and implement corrective actions
• Promote and enforce Lean manufacturing principles and 5S practices within the production area
• Coordinate with maintenance to ensure machinery is in good working condition and resolve mechanical issues promptly
• Train and mentor team members to enhance their skills and performance

Qualifications

• Proven experience in production supervision or related role
• Strong understanding of production processes, including liquid fill and powder-fill operations
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot production equipment
• Familiarity with KPIs and performance measurement in a manufacturing setting
• Proficient in Lean manufacturing methodologies and 5S principles
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to analyze problems and implement effective solutions
