Job Description

We’re looking for a designer who is excited to be hands-on while also growing and supporting the design function. You will:

  • Guide the Design Process: Lead end-to-end design for core product areas, from research and conceptualization to polished, production-ready designs.
  • Understand Users Deeply: Investigate the needs of diverse users, from network engineers to business stakeholders, using both qualitative and quantitative methods.
  • Turn Ideas into Reality: Create user flows, wireframes, interactive prototypes, and detailed mockups in Figma.
  • Build a Scalable System: Contribute to and manage a design system that evolves as the platform grows.
  • Promote Iteration: Encourage rapid prototyping, testing, and refinement based on user feedback.
  • Collaborate Across Functions: Ensure strong communication between design, product, and engineering to bring clarity and alignment.
  • Support the Team: Mentor designers as the team grows, fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, and continuous improvement.

What You Bring

  • 7+ years of experience designing and shipping successful digital products, ideally across enterprise and consumer spaces.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating problem-solving, user-centered design, and measurable results.
  • Expertise in Figma and experience creating/maintaining design systems.
  • Strong skills in interaction design, information architecture, and visual design.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with engineers and product managers, understanding technical constraints.
  • Clear communicator who can explain design decisions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Hands-on mindset — you’re excited to design, iterate quickly, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Bonus Points If You Have

  • Experience designing platforms, developer tools, or network-based applications.
  • Background in identity management, IAM, or security concepts.
  • Exposure to data visualization and accessibility best practices.
  • Prior experience at a startup or high-growth company
