As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare setting, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the location, remaining visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. You will also be expected to provide outstanding customer service, offering assistance and clear communication to everyone you encounter. Pay Rate: $17.50 - $18.50 / Hour

DayTime

Monday 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

Friday 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

Saturday 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within a healthcare environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare locations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or breaches of policy.
• Assist with access control procedures, including verifying identification and/or credentials as required by site policies.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and/or hazards according to site and Allied Universal guidelines.
• Support emergency response activities, including assisting with evacuations and/or providing directions to emergency personnel as needed.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential disruptions and provide reassurance to staff, patients, and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
