Job Responsibilities:

• Provides high quality, safe and motivating training based on individual needs and feedback; provides adaptations based on individual needs.
• Performs orientations to create opportunities to attract clients for Personal Training
• Increases member retention by providing personalized member experiences and building positive relationships with and among members, staff, volunteers and/or guests. Creates a supportive and uplifting community environment.
• Facilitates the development of small communities, helping members to connect with other members.
• Ensures the safety of all members and guests.
• Helps keep the fitness center organized and clean
• Any other tasks designated by the Fitness Director

Position Skills and Experience :

• Current Personal Trainer certification and at least one year experience in a personal training sales role.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Requires knowledge of fitness program development, conditioning principles, and exercise physiology.
• Flexibility in scheduling is preferred in creating schedule. Be able to maintain schedule.
• Proficient using a computer
• Ability to follow directions work independently and in a team / group setting
• Pay based on experience
