Performing routine database monitoring, performance tuning, and query optimization. Configuring and managing Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC), Data Guard, and RMAN. Implementing and managing backup, restore, and disaster recovery strategies using RMAN. Troubleshooting and resolving database issues, including performance degradation, corruption, and outages. Managing Oracle database security (user roles, privileges, encryption, auditing). Performing database migrations, upgrades, and patching with minimal downtime. Automating administrative tasks using Oracle scripts (PL/SQL, Bash, Perl). Monitoring capacity planning, storage, and system resources. Collaborating with application developers to enhance database performance and scalability. Physical requirements include working in a standard office environment and providing support after hours, including on-call assistance.
