Our business is growing, and we seek a dynamic and experienced Night Warehouse Manager to lead our team of Order Selectors. As the Night Warehouse Manager, you will use your leadership skills to drive our night crew to the next level of success while building an even stronger team. In this role, you will manage all night crew employees, ensure they build pallets according to company standards, and ensure that all trucks are correctly loaded.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Team Management:
- Supervise and motivate the night shift warehouse team to achieve high performance and productivity.
- Conduct regular training and coaching sessions and performance evaluations to develop team members and improve warehouse operations.
- Foster a positive work environment and address any issues or conflicts promptly.
- Operations Management:
- Oversee the nightly operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to company standards.
- Monitor and manage inventory control, ensuring accurate order picking, packing, and pallet building.
- Ensure all trucks are correctly loaded and dispatched according to schedule, minimizing delays and errors.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with the Transportation Manager to ensure smooth operation and timely dispatch of the truck fleet.
- Coordinate with the Day Warehouse Manager to create a seamless handover between shifts and address any operational issues.
- Collaborate with other departments to align warehouse operations with overall company objectives.
- Safety & Compliance:
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, legal regulations, and industry standards.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Analyze performance metrics and generate reports to drive data-informed decisions and improvements.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in warehouse management, preferably in a night shift role.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of successfully managing and developing teams.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems and technology.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- A positive, can-do attitude with an entrepreneurial spirit.
