We are Volatus Wines
Our team is looking for someone who has experience in social media with digital and physical organization. Ideally, you have already been a long-term employee at your previous position, and you are looking for a smaller brand to work with, or you are someone who hasn't been in this industry looking to energize your game with great wine and a great brand. But you do need to have experience with POS software, Instagram and know how to work around online marketing platforms. We use OrderPort for our wine club software and it will take training to get it down, but its relatively simple once you are show the ropes.
We are a small, strong team who are BIG military and first responder supporters as most of our branding is built on the winemaker’s history of being a fighter pilot in the Navy.
Please bring a strong work ethic, be a self-starter, quick to learn, positive, and be mentally and physically present when here. Be very open to working with others as a team, taking directions, and being flexible with schedules. Have good hygiene and look presentable at work.
This can be a 2-person part-time position, or a full-time position for someone who is looking to submerse themselves in our world of wine, help us be seen, and organize a wine club that is growing!
Some Specifics:
-Hourly rates go between $18-21/hr, this position is DOE and can change with how you grow into the position. Hourly to earn tips! But this can also be negotiable.
-Our wine club is between 680-750 members
-Tips are great, if you are great. And that can be a game changer. (Employees we have had average between $10-16/hour on top of their wage with tips and commissions.)
-Commissions are $20 with each successful wine club member signed up.
-Perks are plenty. If you are good to us, we are good to you. We like dinners, parties and take advantage of the local industry perks where applicable.
-Schedules and hours depend on who we find and how they fit into our current team, however, it is more of a Wednesday - Sunday Work week schedule. We are open 7 days a week and we have to occasionally split shift days for meal breaks. Wine Club is twice a year and schedules will need to be adjusted during that time. Busy weekends and Holidays are not to be taken off for vacation time and you will probably be called in to help the team if you are not scheduled.

But Volatus has been around since 2004. Hal has been making wine since 1998. He left the Navy in 2007 and has been concentrating on our brand ever since with his wife, Victoria. We are a true family here and not a corporation, though it is an LLC. We do this because we love it. We want to see this brand grow and success and have an amazing staff to help us through our fast growth!
