About the Opportunity:

Youth Haven Ministries is a grassroots 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to creating safe, inclusive spaces where teens feel seen, valued, and supported. We’re growing fast and need a creative marketing and social media volunteer to help amplify our message, engage with youth and families online, and build awareness about our programs and mission.

If you love storytelling, digital media, and making a real impact through communications, this flexible volunteer role is perfect for you. You’ll be part of a supportive team building something meaningful from the ground up!

What You'll Do:

• Manage and grow our social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.)
• Create engaging, youth-focused content (graphics, posts, videos, stories)
• Help plan and promote events, programs, and campaigns online
• Monitor and respond to online community engagement with care and professionalism
• Support email newsletters and website updates as needed
• Collaborate with staff and volunteers to keep messaging consistent and inspiring

What We’re Looking For:

• Passion for marketing, social media, and youth outreach
• Basic skills with social media platforms, Canva or similar design tools, and content creation
• Creative thinker with an eye for engaging visuals and messaging
• Reliable, organized, and able to commit a few hours per week
• Comfortable working remotely with a small grassroots team
• Aligned with our mission of inclusivity, compassion, and faith-based service (LGBTQ+ friendly)
