Locum Veterinarian - Northern California at Western Veterinary Partners summary:

Western Veterinary Partners is seeking experienced locum veterinarians in Northern California to support various hospitals. The role focuses on providing high-quality veterinary care while adapting to different hospital cultures and working with diverse teams. Ideal candidates are DVM licensed in California with hands-on small animal experience and 3+ years of clinical expertise.

Western Veterinary Partners is searching for experienced veterinarians to join our team in a regional locum DVM role.

We're hiring multiple locum veterinarians to support our hospitals throughout the state. Based on our current locations, locum DVMs will primarily serve hospitals in these areas:

• San Francisco peninsula
• Greater Sacramento
• Butte and Shasta counties
• Reno/Tahoe area - open to seasonal shifts!

This is a full-time relief position that is perfect for doctors easily connect with diverse teams and would find fulfillment having a dynamic caseload.

We're looking to hire veterinarians who will easily adapt to each hospital's culture/needs and has hands-on experience in a small animal hospital. Large animal and exotic experience are a plus, but not required.

To be considered for the role, you must be a licensed DVM (or have the ability to become licensed) in California. Veterinarians who have 3+ years of clinical experience are encouraged to apply.

San Francisco peninsula locations:

• 2 sister hospitals within 6 miles of each other (with additional locations coming soon)
• Multiple RVTs on staff

Greater Sacramento locations:

• GP and advanced procedures (including orthopedics)

Butte and Shasta counties:

• 2 locations located in Bella Vista and Chico (under 1.5 hours apart)
• Small and mixed animal medicine (~25% large animal)
• Both locations are multi-doctor clinics
• Multiple RVTs on staff
• Paperless PMS (Cornerstone)
• Great community reputations (nearly 5 star ratings)
• GP and advanced services (including equine dentistry, emergencies, and alternative medicine)
